SQL Server Data Analyst, Developer, and DBA2005 – 2006

Situation

Converted DTS packages to SSIS during the company's platform migration, while assisting the senior DBA with hardware configuration, capacity planning, and security management across 20+ servers and 50+ workstations.

What I Did

Rewrote and validated legacy DTS packages as SSIS packages for the SQL Server 2005 upgrade. Worked alongside the senior DBA on physical hardware configuration, capacity planning, and security policy management across the full server and workstation fleet.

Result

Completed the platform migration without disruption to ongoing client operations, modernizing the ETL infrastructure and expanding hands-on DBA skills across a 20+ server environment.
