Built SSIS-Equivalent Ingestion Pipelines in Pure T-SQL

Situation

Licensing SSIS across hundreds of client servers was cost-prohibitive, but the platform needed robust ingestion pipelines to reliably process evidence data. Clients ran varying SQL Server editions and SSIS was not always available.

What I Did

Built ingestion pipelines entirely in T-SQL with tSQLt test coverage, eliminating the SSIS dependency and making the solution deployable on any SQL Server instance regardless of edition. Full test suites ensured reliability without the runtime overhead of an ETL tool.
